✅ Affordable solar energy for all – Government bulk-buying of solar panels, battery storage, and inverters to drive down costs. Installation will be prioritized in high-need communities and will be mandatory on all new builds.
✅ Smart climate action – Direct support for businesses to reduce emissions practically rather than relying on ineffective carbon credits.
✅ Common-sense mining policy – Mining allowed only for essential resources (coal, oil, gas) to maintain national energy security while preventing environmental damage and cultural disruption.
✅ Waste reduction with industry accountability – Businesses must take responsibility for reducing waste and using sustainable materials, rather than shifting costs onto consumers.
✅ Sustainable housing and infrastructure – Eco-friendly, modular housing developments that reduce costs and environmental impact while ensuring practical building standards.
✅ Water security for New Zealanders – No new foreign-owned bottling plants and strict monitoring of water use to protect local resources.
